Got Questions?
Explore our frequently asked questions to learn more about how health coaching works, what to expect, and how we support your journey to lasting mind-body wellness.

What is a health coach?

A health coach is a professional who supports you in creating and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits. We focus on foundational coaching (nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, and mindset) to help you reach your personal health goals.

How is coaching different from seeing a doctor or therapist?

Doctors diagnose and treat medical conditions. Therapists help with emotional and mental health. A health coach complements these roles by helping you take action on lifestyle changes. We work together on daily habits, motivation, and goal-setting before disease sets in. Our aim is to help clients develop healthy habits to optimize their mind body wellness.

What happens during a typical coaching session?

Each session is a conversation where we explore your goals, challenges, progress, and mindset. We identify actionable steps that move you closer to your desired outcomes.

Do you offer meal plans or fitness programs?

We provide guidance, suggestions, and resources tailored to your lifestyle. We don’t prescribe strict diets or workouts, but instead support you in making sustainable choices.

 How often do we meet?

Most clients meet weekly or once every two weeks. We’ll decide together what frequency works best for your goals and availability.

Is coaching right for me?

Coaching is ideal if you're ready to make positive changes, even if you're unsure where to start. You don’t need to have everything figured out — just a willingness to grow.

What is biometric data–led health coaching?

This approach uses objective health data — such as blood pressure, glucose levels, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep metrics, body composition, and lab results — to personalize your coaching plan and track progress over time.

What types of biometric data do you use?

We may use data from wearable devices (like smartwatches or fitness trackers), lab work (e.g., blood panels, hormone levels), or assessments we conduct during your onboarding process. The exact data we use depends on your health goals.

How does biometric data help improve my results?

Data allows us to identify patterns, track progress objectively, and tailor recommendations to your body’s actual needs. It helps remove guesswork and ensures our strategies are measurable and evidence-based.

Do I need a wearable device or lab tests to work with you?

Not mandatory but we highly recommend purchasing a wearable device to collect health data. While wearable and lab data enhance personalization, we can still create an effective plan for foundational health without them.

Can I share data from my own provider or device?

Absolutely. We welcome health reports, lab results, and wearable data from your doctor or devices like Oura, WHOOP, Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, etc. We’ll integrate what’s relevant into your coaching plan.

Will this replace my doctor’s advice?

No. Health coaching complements your medical care. We do not diagnose or treat conditions, but we support your lifestyle and behavioral changes based on the data you choose to share.

What if my biometric data reveals something concerning?

If we notice patterns or data points that suggest a health concern, we’ll encourage you to consult with a medical professional. Coaching does not replace medical care.

How often is my data reviewed?

We review your data before or during each session, and as needed between sessions, depending on the level of your plan. You’ll receive insights and trends to guide your plan.
